Doha, April 20. The Qatari government has implemented new laws to protect foreign workers' rights which will directly benefit more than 400,000 Nepali workers employed there.

According to the new regulations, workers are now guaranteed clean working conditions, adequate rest, and timely salary payments. The legal provisions for terminating workers without cause have also been revised.

Sher Bahadur Rai, First Secretary at the Nepali Embassy in Qatar informed, "We have been in continuous dialogue with the Qatari government and these new regulations will bring positive changes in the lives of Nepali workers."
