Kathmandu. Kathmandu-based fintech startup PaySewa has successfully raised Rs 50 million in a Series A funding round.

The investment came from local and international investors. The company's founder and CEO Aayush Shrestha said this investment is historic for Nepal's fintech sector.

"We will use this money to expand our systems and bring new services. Our goal is to bring digital financial services to rural areas of Nepal as well," the CEO said.
